Email this File

Hello,

Does anyone know how to change the default email program that XP uses to send a file via the File and Folder Tasks pane. I would like to make it so it uses Outlook instead of my MSN program. Thanks.

Open Internet Options, Programs tab. You can set the default mail client there.

Thanks for the response. I have already tried this, however, and it works great from within Internet Explorer but when I click on "Email this File" from within a folder it still opens up MSN Explorer and Mail. Any other ideas? Thanks again.

Download that utility and click "Clear per-user setting.." that might help!
