email text is always underlined

Recently all emails I create automatically underline all text and highlighted
all text - bold. I have been to mail setup and cleared the bold boxes which
worked. The underline boxes are all clear but the problem still persists.
HELP Please

Sounds like a Word problem (with gammar checking). Not an Outlook issue.
