Email Stuck in the outbox folder

dear all,
I got this problem only today and before thinking to post this question i
read most of the previous posted questions and none of them solve my problem
i also checked the article at Microsot (ID=195922) and it doesn't help.

this is what I have:

the client: Win XP Pro SP1, Outlook 2003 Pro.
Client Configuration: Direct to the Exchange server (no personal folder),
cached mode, connection through LAN.
Server: Exchange 2000 on windows 2000 enterprise server.

when the user try to send a new message or reply to any message the message
stuck in the outbox folder and it doesn't go to the sent items. no errors and
the outlook is connected to the server and the message still in Italic font.

this happens even when sending emails localy (user in the same GAL).
I configure the oulook again and i tried creating new profile. all they
don't help.

Note:
the stuck message can be deleted with no problems.

Do you have mcafee groupshield antivirus running on your exchange server?

It only occurs when cashing mode is configured.......
