email send problems in Outlook 2007

I have (e-mail address removed) as my default account for my outgoing emails.
Default is supposed to mean set it once and forget about it, right? Well I
guess Microsoft has its own definitions for the word.
After realizing that my emails were being sent from the wrong account, I
check and click on the account every time that I send emails (even though it
always shows as being set to the correct default). The message above the send
button also says that the email will be sent from the default account but it
still gets sent from my (e-mail address removed) account about 75% of the time.
I am using OL 2007 with connector and one pop plus 4 free live email accounts

The default account is the account Outlook will use when you send a new
message. If you are replying to a message, Outlook will always use the
account that received the message.

Maybe I was not clear enough but when I forward a message that I received in
my POP account, 75% of the time it ended up being sent through my live
business account; I exchange spicy emails with friends and as you might know
it's not a great idea to have your business addy on such emails. So I've
de-activated the business account and no more problems.
Great solution,eh???? Sad testimonial for MS, that it had to come to that.
