Email over 1MB gets stuck in outbox & keeps resending

If I send an email over 1 MB, it gets stuck in my outbox
as if it was not sent, and then it keeps sending it over
and over until I delete it from my outbox.

In other words, it gets sent, but stays in the outbox
instead of moving to the SENT folder.

This happens on 3 different POP3 accounts I access from
Outlook 2003.

I have also created a whole new PST file and it still
happens.

I've seen this in other threads on the net, but have not
found a solution.

May be because yr ISP has limits on size
you've tried zipping/splitting it

Thks for the reply...the ISP can handle up to 20 MB...
this happens on 1-2-3 MB mails. It is something new,
never used to happen. Mark H

If its just happened, tried a repair? Installed anything else lately, eg
update?

HI... tried updates + repair... did not fix it.

However, After changing the outgoing server timeout in
the advanced settings from short to long, it is OK now.

I think this happened when I did a re-install a while ago
and it put it back to factory settings.
