Email not working in web site

I recently purchased MS Vista Windows and do not have any problem sending
email by yahoo.com or hotmail. I have log on access to a professional web
site and have internal mail there as well.

The problem is that after I log on with a password I can get email but when
I try to send or reply I get and small boxed x. This does not allow me to
send any email inside this site.

Additionally the email shows this error message:

"soeditor Pro 2.5" on the email window

Several other members upgraded to Vista 2007 and they can not send email
internally either.

Our IT support stated : "Talk to Microsoft about this problem"

Any adivice or explaination??

This is not a Windows Mail issue, but I may have the answer for you.
It sounds like the professional site uses Outlook Web Access (OWA).
Your IT department is about eight months behind the times because
they should have patched their server for Vista. Point them to this article:

Thank you Gary, I will notify them at once. They (site mgrs) had indicated
to several of us there was a patch needed but we had to get the patch. Your
suggestion helped alot.
