email not working after computer sits.

Every time my computer sits 3-4 hours or more I cant get
my email, and have to reboot to get it working again.
Any ideas why ?

Obviously you are losing your Internet connection. However, since you
didn't tell us what that connection is - dialup, cable, dsl, etc. - or
the name of your ISP, you can't get help.
