email locks pc

Hello

Using outlook 2007/exchange 2003sp2

I received an email from an associate yesterday morning- I usually receive 5 -10 per day from this person with no problem

When I clicked the forward button, it locked my computer up. I went to Task Manager and ended that task. Then I restarted my computer.

At the end of the day yesterday, I tried to print that same email, and it locked my computer up. This morning I thought I would try to forward it and I ran into the same problem.

I do not have a problem with any other emails. I don't know if this is a big deal or not, but thought I would check in case it is a symptom of something else.

Regards

I am not sure specifically, but check if the email might have a large
attachment to it.
I have a lady in my office who was complaining her computer was acting slow,
specifically her email. The only way to get out was CTRL-ALT-DEL and end
task. It turns out someone had sent her two emails with 30MB attachments on
them.. it wasn't frozen/locked up.. it was downloading them. Once she
deleted those two emails everything was fine for her.
