email hyperlinks

How come email hyperlinks in Outlook put me through IE instead of my default browser?
 
Are you sure Windows knows what your default browser is? It may well be
that your preferred browser isn't actually your default browserl. Your
preferred browser should have a settings/options/preferences dialog box that
lets you set it up as the default.
