Windows XP Email Help please

Hi I need to format my computer and i am useing Windows XpPro, what i need is some info about how can i save my email so i can get those emails back once i reinstall windows xp and Microsoft outlook.

Hi hamrun and welcome to PC Review

Open Outlook

Select - File>Import and Export>Export to a File>Next>Personal Folder File (.pst)>Next

Highlight your Inbox and tick box if you want to include subfolders>Next

Select where you want to save file, I would suggest your desktop for now>Select option 'do not include duplicate items'>FINISH

Then save that file on to a Memory Stick etc and once you have re-installed open the new Outlook and select File>Import and Export>Import from another program or file> and import the file back in the program.

Print everyone off to paper ... so if Outlook then has problems importing, which happens all too often, at least you know you can retype them in.

hdomingos you are going to have to give us more information about the problem so we can help you, such as which operating system, email program, exactly what the problem is etc.

Can I suggest you start a new thread about this so we can help you specifically?
