I am having the same problem. My email goes into the deleted folder! I
deleted all rules. Don't know how to set up a new one that will fix the
problem. Can you explain in more detail? I am also receiving multiple
copies of the same email. What should I do? HELP ME PLEASE!

You replied to a *4-1/2 year old* thread! Next time when searching for
posts that /may/ discuss your problem, remember to look at the datestamp
before replying.

The OP's e-mail was supposedly going to their task folder (which is NOT an
e-mail type folder). Your problem is e-mails going to the Deleted Folder.
Um, so just how do you know that you have the "same" problem. You don't.
You haven't a clue if Doug was using the same version of Outlook as you and
running it under the same version of Windows as you. Since Doug never
bothered to reply (as to whether the advice to check his rules found the
problem or not), you don't know if his problem was with rules or with
something else, like some 3rd party anti-spam software.

Stop hijacking someone else's thread, especially an ancient one, and start
your own NEW thread that describes your environment (OS version, Outlook
version, type of e-mail account, rules defined, add-ons installed into
Outlook, if junk filtering is configured to delete or move suspect e-mails,
any anti-virus or anti-spam software or anything else that interrogates your
e-mail traffic, etc).

--- Posting Hints ---

ALWAYS REVIEW your message before submitting it. You want someone OTHER
than yourself to understand your post. Also remember that no one here is
looking over your shoulder to see at what you are pointing. If you don't
well explain your situation by providing the details that you already know,
don't expect others to know what is your situation. Explain YOUR computing
environment and just what actions you take to reproduce the problem.

Often you get just one chance per potential respondent to elicit a reply
from them. If they skip your post because you gave them nothing to go on
(no details, no versions, no OS, no context) then they will usually move on
to the next post and never return to yours.
