Email Font.

When I creat a new email... the "Options" are not the same font, color, or
signiture ar the "Options" under "tools". How do I make them so? If I make
a change with the Create email open... it will not take... the changes go
away.

I must have done something because it worked before?

I had the same issue, which I just couldn't figure out. The replies posted
in these forums just weren't helping. What's being overlooked are the
SEPERATE FONT SETTINGS for SIGNATURES. If you use any signatures this could
be your answer. When the signature is inserted before the e-mail is typed,
and you start typing just above it, the font that's been set for that
signature is applied. (Mine includes a space above the signature, so I don't
have to move it every time before typing.)

Go to: Tools/Options/Mail Format/Signatures/Edit (each sig)/Font

I chose identical settings as my main font, so there is no visual difference.
