email delivery error

I keep getting emails with no subject matter and no sender (both are blank!),
must be some form of spam. Regardless, this causes outlook to hang when
downloading messages and gives a delivery error. Can anyone advise how to
filter these messages out?

What is the error message you're getting?

Do you have any anti-virus or anti-spam software scanning your incoming
email? If so, try disabling it - some such software seems to have a
problem with the sort of messages you're describing.
