I read a reply earlier from someone who suggest that you don't use the FP
email request format because it is very easy to spam. Does anyone have any
generic code that will send an email to me when someone submits information
on my form? I'm new to this and very confused!! I also know that my host
will support FP extensions.

do you know what kind of server you're on and/or what server side scripting
language you can use?

there are tons of "mail" scripts out there, we'll help you find a good one!

btw, I've never got spammed on any of my sites because of the email address
in the form code. not that it couldn't happen, it's just that it hasn't
yet.

If you're on a UNIX server you'll probably want to use PHP.
check www.hotscripts.com and other such places for an email form handler,
etc.
there's a nice tool that'll do it all for you here:
