Form saves to text file but will not email

CS

I am having a difficulty with a form -- FP 2000.

The form will submit, goes to the confirmation page, and posts the data to
the default text file.

However, it does not send an email to the included email address.

Same form worked fine on previous server. Have called web-host, and tested
an html "mailto" form (not FP), which works fine. FP extensions are
installed and are working in all other aspects. This is hosted on a
non-Windows server.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Many hosts will only allow Email to be sent to an address on the server
- use your domain mail box instead of a personal one

Has your host actually configured the forms to email transport for your
account in the FP server extensions? It's not automatic, they must manually
configure it.

Thanks for the responses, but I don't think that's it, as other forms are
working, and working to various email addresses.

Any other suggestions?

Which is the proper email address?

One form I checked has this as the domain to send the email to: (e-mail address removed)
The one you posted that doesn't work has this domain: (e-mail address removed)

Obviously I changed the real email account name to accountname so you
wouldn't get spam.

try sending it to email as text instead of what you have now.

When I initially tried the form that posts to the carruch.com address, it
wouldn't work at all -- generated an error. (carruch.com is the main
address, consciousservice is a domain pointer) -- when I changed the form to
a legitimate email address at the carruch.com domain, it would post to the
text file, but wouldn't email.

The other form is pointed to a legitimate email at the domain pointer and
works (sends to text file AND email).

I have tried formatting the form as formatted text, and it doesn't work.
I'll try rebuilding it from scratch and see if that works.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far.
