email bounced - word doc with visio flow insert

Is there any reason why an email sent to me ( in Outlook) would bounce back
to the sender without any notification to me (usually I do receive this
notification) when containing the following attachment:
- a small word file <200kb with 7 real pages) with one visio flow chart
inserted on one of these pages).

The email also bounced back when sent to my hotmail account - but you
probably won't comment on that. Other emails from that sender are always
received properly.

Also, should/could I post this to the Visio group?

Most likely it is your mail server that bounced the message. Contact
your mail admin or ISP support about this.

The easiest way to prevent problems with "unsafe" attachments is to pack
them into a ZIP file, either with a 3rd-party tool, or XP's own method.
