can some one please tell me how to set this up ? I use windows mail on vista
and I see it quite a bit from clients of mine ... how do I do it

The e-mail client has to support that feature. I don't use Windows Mail for
my e-mail client but I had a look and didn't find that option. A client like
Outlook does. If your ISP offers web-based e-mail, you can check the option
settings there...sometimes they provide that feature.
