Email attachments

Utilizing Windows mail program.
Outlook Express showed file attachments when creating mail.
I do NOT visually see my attachments AFTER attaching.
Have looked at settings, see no option to display attachments.
Removed attachment check mark for dangerous attachments with
no change.
Could somebody explain to me if this visual aid was removed or
a setting needs to be changed?

Don't use Insert - Picture
Use Insert - File attachment (or click on the paperclip icon).

I do NOT visually see my attachments in this "BAR" AFTER attaching.

Dave I made a mistake when I stated 'Outlook Express'/Windows Mail
It is Microsoft Outlook 2007. I am sending an attachment. Not a picture. It
use to show all attachments with a bar above the subject line. I do not see
the attachment bar nor any attachments to my email messages. Yet they are
attached. Verified by BCC to alternate email addy.
