Email attachments?

I use Win XP and Incredimail or Outlook Express will not open jpeg
attachments. Message says File may be deleted or blocked by Norton
Antivirus. Then it says it can't find Program.exe to open the file??
I have checked the files and no viruses are present.
The files open fine in their original folder on the hard drive.
Help will be appreciated

I just emailed a jpg to myself and there is a preview of the picture
in the message but the attachement will not open. Strange, it always
worked OK before.
