Email attachments security level

Hi there, does anyone know how to clear the 'Opening Mail Attachment' message in Outlook 2002 when opening excel or word attachments. It always asks whether you want to open or save them & the 'always ask before opening this type of file' box is greyed out. I have tried reducing the macro security level to low but this makes no difference.
Please can anyone help. Thanks, Ian
