Email address that won't go away

I am running Outlook 2000. I have a friend that changed
his email address awhile back and so I went in and changed
the email address in the contact for him. When I type in
his first name, Outlook will automatically fill in the old
email address. When I type in his last name Outlook will
fill in the new email address. I went through all email
addresses for him and made sure only his new one is
listed. I also tried to go through all distribution lists
to see if Outlook might be remembering him from a
distribution list (I say tried because I have a huge
contact list and I can't seem to filter the distribution
lists so it shows all of them). Everything looks the way
I would expect it but I still have the problem.

Any thoughts?
