EMAIL ADDRESS SINGLE QUOTES

MS Outlook adds single quotes to ny TO e-mail addresses
(e.g., '(e-mail address removed)') -- both when I copy and paste an
address, and when I review a sent e-mail. Why does it do
this, and how can I stop it, since it's causing problems
for some recepients.

It does this to distinguish the beginning and end of a name/e-mail address
for the end user (especially handy when there are spaces in names for
instance). Why (and in what way) do you think this is causing problems for
recipients?

Mail addressed with single quotes (by Outlook), when
received by at least one recepient, is unrecognized and
directed to a default mailbox for the domain -- causing
delayed receipt and problems for the targeted recepient.
Any suggestions on what either the recepient or I can do?
