Email Address Input Mask

I am creating a form where people can go to input product
ideas for my company. On this form they are required to
fill in their name, company, email address, phone, and
state of residence. I am trying to create an input mask
or a format in the email address fields that requires the
user to enter a valid email address in the format
_________@____.___ however I have been unable to figure
out a combination to format an email address.

Please help!!!
