email accounts

My husband and I have two different email accounts, I want to be able to
manage them separately. My "other's user folder" icon is not active to be
able to switch between folders. What did I do wrong?

Either set up a separate Windows User, or set up a second Outlook
Profile....

You set up ONE email account in One profile, and the second in the second
profile......unless, your two email accounts are NOT genuinely separate
email accounts but are aliases of the one master account, in which case
outlook express is a better tool rather than outlook....
