Email account errors

I am getting the following error msg.
There was an error accessing your system registry.
Has anyone else recieved this?
I have 2003 outlook, OS is xp.
Thanks to anyone who can help
 
This is not an Outlook problem. Post in ng for your operating system. You
might try a System Restore.
