Email about 980 bytes long, no header, no words in body, nor attachment. Is this a trojan horse?

I'm using MS Windows XP Home edition and MS Outlook Express 6.

In the past a few weeks, almost daily, I receive such emails from various
unrecognized email names from various addresses. They either have no header
or have header like "Hi". Do they poses security risks?

They more then likely sure do, just delete them, and make
sure that you don't run any attachements which come with
them.

Also can I advise that if you don't already have one,
purchase / download an Anti-Virus package, this will
ensure that if you do get any strange e-mail that they
won't be able to infect your machine.
