email a report with formatting to word for editing

Chris v.

I need to email a report with the formatting (including boxes) to a coworker
for input before printing the report. Is this possible? (The "Export data
with formatting and layout" check box is gray, so I can't chose it when
trying to save in RTF format? Is there a way using Access 2007 to do this?
The only solution we have is to print a blank form with the EMPTY boxes
correctly positioned and then use these printed forms as paper stock in the
printer to print the text only forms. There has go to be a better way. Please
help.

RTF is not always the best format when exported.
Possibly a PDF file if you can get it so the user can edit it. Otherwise
you are down to excel, snp, htm, txt.
I don't use Access2007 much I think it has a new format or two.

Stephen Lebans I believe has a module to export to Word:
http://www.lebans.com/ReportUtilities.htm that might work for you.

Take a look at the email module at http://www.rptsoftware.com it might be
useful as well,
Mark
