Elusive Routing Interfaces

Does anybody know of a fix to force an adsl modem to appear
in the Routing Interfaces list when you go to set up
Routing/NAT using the RRAS mmc on a Win2K Advanced Server.

I've tried 3 different brands of USB, and 2 PCI ADSL modems
with no success.

Thanks in advance.

If you create a demand dial interface using your modem then you can add that
demand dial interface to NAT / RIP / OSPF and other RRAS components.

Hope it helps

Thanks for replying so promptly.

Yes, I've already tried what you have suggested to no
avail.

I suspect that this might be a NDISWAN issue; where Windows
is unable to capture and enumerate the adsl modem
interfaces.

What I need to know is a way of manually enumerating the
interfaces by editing the registry and/or configuration
files.

Any clues on how to do this?

I forgot to mention that the adsl modem uses the PPPoA
(RFC2364) protocol.

Any ideas on a solution to this problem?
