EGG TIMER!

Since a few days ago every time I do anything including
leaving my PC alone, the egg timer on my arrow keeps
working for a few seconds stops then starts again, as if
it is doing a task as normal. This has just started to
happen and wonder if anybody has got any answers, it
happens if I am connected to the internet as well as when
I am not as well.
