Editing the source of a message

Is there a way to edit the source of an HTML message using windows mail?

If yes, how?

When I click "View" while composing a new e-mail message in windows mail the
only three options that I get are:
- Cc and Bc
- Status bar
- Customize toolbar
there is no "Edit source" option.
What could be the reason?

The option only is available when editing a message in the RichText
(HTML) format.
