Editing Local Policy on machine no longer on domain

Hi,

I have a machine that was once connected to a different company's domain,
received some group policies from that domain, but now it is no longer
connected to that domain. Now the computer is part of a different domain.
But even if I log on as local Administrator, I cannot edit those policies
anymore (the icon looks like the local policy with domain controllers behind
it). Is there any way to reset the local policies all back to default or
take control over the policies again?

Thanks,

d mac

I think I resolved this. I ran a "gpupdate /force" on the computer and it
seems to have refreshed the policies with those from our domain.

thanks!
