editing layered text groups - cutom animated

I have slide esigned by someone else that is cusom animated. It has bullets
responding to mouse clicks. With each bullet new text appears in a separate
text box, fading in and then out, as new text comes into that box. How do I
access that text to format the text box. All butoons on Custom Animation
toolbox deal with editing. I can't find the underlying text.

Randy,

Have you tried pressing the 'tab' key to cycle through every object
(including the text object) on the page?

Chances are someone has set one text object (with many bullet points) to
appear 'on click' per paragraph

Randy,
On the drawing toolbar choose the select multiple objects button. If it does
not show, click on the tiny arrow at the end of the toolbar, click on add or
delete buttons, draw, put a check next to select multiple objects. In the
dialog put a check next to the text box you want to select and hit OK.
Right click the edge of the selected box, choose edit text.
