Hi,

With Outlook Express, I can edit the HTML email that I am sending, by
directly editing the HTML. How can I do this within Outlook's "Compose"
interface? I don't want to use Frontpage or Word to do this, I want
this within Compose interface like Outlook Express.

Thanks

Thanks Brian, but no it doesn't. As I mentioned in my earlier note I am
not interested in using Word or any other HTML editor for writing my
emails. Word writes horrid HTML, and is way too bulky, and as for an
external editor, well I cannot keep saving emails and then using FILE
--> SEND PAGE AS from IE.

If a freebie like Outlook Express can have this feature, why not
Outlook itself?

Outlook doesn't have the feature you want. Asking why not is an exercise in
futility. The real world dictates your choice, which is use the methids
described in the link or don't use HTML. You decide what's more important.
