Editing a Hyperlinks in a Word 2003 Document

I have a document with multiple hyperlinks in it. They were created without
issue but there is smonething odd happening. If I try to edit a hyperlink,
the "text to display" field isn't always editable. I will right click and
say edit hyperlink 3 or 4 or 5 times and it isn't editable then on the next
richgt click it is! I have patched both the application and the OS and there
is no difference. I have never seen anythin as random as this in my life!
Any guidance would be most welcome.

Note that you can edit the hyperlink text directly in the document. However,
you will have to be a little careful, so that you don't delete the whole
hyperlink by default.
