Go to the View menu, choose Toolbars, then Customize. There, choose the
Toolbars tab and select "Worksheet Menu Bar" in the list. Click the Reset
button. This will restore the menu bar to its default settings.
Thank you for responding. But I tried this, and it didn't
work. It seemed like it was going to work, then as soon
as I hit reset, it went back to the menu-bar without
the "Edit" menu. Any ideas?
Actually, the following works --
(Thanks to Jon Peltier)--
(1) Go to View menu > Toolbars > Customize.
(2) Click on Commands tab, scroll down and select Built
In Menus in left hand list.
(3) Drag Edit from right hand list up to the menu bar,
where it belongs.
