edit file category

In the properties window of documents type files (pdf's etc) there is a
category field
Is there a way to edit these in explorer or a third party utility that will
let me do this?

Any help appreciated

Right click the file | Click Properties |
Click the Summary tab | Click the Advanced button |
To the right of Category, click until the cursor shows |
Type whatever | Click Apply | Click OK
