echo in volume

Hello,
Running windows xp on a Medion new computer. There is a
echo when the volume is turned up just a little. I checked
the knowladge base, but didn't find what would fix the
echo.

I don't know either since I don't know what sound card you have. I'd
suggest you find said sound card, and see if there is an advanced tab there
somewhere which includes some special things like "echo" Also keep in mind
that F-1 = "help" in most cases.

I bet if you turned the volume up real high you'd get feedback, too. In
the soundcard mixer settings mute the Mic input.

go into the setup for the sound card and turn of 3D sound.
