Echo

Yesterday I purchased a HP Pavilion A1424N, windows xp home. While
looking through the programs today I some how changed my sound to an
echo. Every sound the computer makes has an echo and I can't find a way
to change it back. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

In Control Panel I have a sound effects manager - part of the driver
for the sound card - might see if you have something similar.

You have some sort of sound effects environment program that came with your
sound card. Look in Control Panel and see if your sound card has its own
applet. If not, look under the Sounds applet.
