Echo in Music

No matter what I do, there is a echo in the music when I
play it on the Media Player. I adjust the equalizer, I
went through the setup on the control panel and still
there is an echo. What should I do.

Check 3rd party software (Real, WinAmp ......sequencers etc.) to make sure
all filters are off.
