ebay website problems

Ebay site loads fine and runs smoothly in Windows 98 but in XP it hits a
brick wall. I get the hour glass for two minutes then page can't display
result. Anyone have suggestions for work arounds in XP. No problem with any
site but ebay.

Hi:
I sometime go to eBay site to look at some stuff. One
thing of which I know is eBay has a bunch of pictures
(pretty and fancy ones) that requires a lot of
memory, ... in my guess.
Then, in order to get a smooth ride on eBay, there seems
to need fairly powerful machine. At least, this is my
experience. My current machine with 512 MB, I am able to
acess any eBay sites without any problem.

BTW, in my case, on Win.98(old machine) I was UNABLE to
get a good pictures in time, but on XP, I am capable to
access eBay site with ease.

Have you updated your browser to the latest version and installed all
service packs?
