eBay sales of FrontPage

What is going on with eBay offers to sell FrontPage for around $10? Below
is what one seller has posted:

"Product: Microsoft FrontPage 2003
Version: Full Install Package, New and Unregistered
Runs Under: MS Windows OS
Packaging: Full Retail Version CD + Product Activation Key
Why is Microsoft doing this you ask????? They are promoting a new business
software package. Part of the package is the Full, NON TRIAL version of
Front Page. It comes on its own disk w/its own activation key. This is a
promotion from MS. This listing is helping promote their item!"

I would seriously doubt the validity of that "auction."

The adds that I looked at are not from MS.
Therefore, the packages could be HOT.
I'm sure these things get stolen all the time from stores and warehouse buy
folks that try to make money on eBay.

Can't that be the case?
You just have to search your own conscious and make a decision.

And then again, if approved by Microsoft... may mean that Office 2006 is
coming out in the forth quarter, therefore, get everyone you can think of to
use the product now so that they will want to upgrade to the new one coming
out.

Kind of like going fishing. Throw out the bate then real it in.
