affect the speed...

number 7 will slow it by a few
thousand microseconds, maybe
more or less...

number 4 should probably
target unneeded startups
in msconfig....

Numbr 7 can, and will, definately cause the PC to some what slow down,
especially if you installed memory hogs like Norton or McAfee.

funny and likely that
there is one for winxp
somewhere..

but in any case i think it still has
some interesting points
to consider...

That is a Windows 98 article! It has no place in a Windows XP group!
