Easy Cd Creator 5.2 problems

this error shows up everytime I try to burn a cd and I
have tried everything to fix it and it doesn't work

Why are you posting here?! What has Easy CD Creator got to do with
Microsoft?! Just because you're running it on Windows XP, doesn't make this
the correct place to be posting.

Because we're not here to wipe their arses. They know the name of the
developer - hell the web address might even be in the manual - stranger
things have happened!

Very immature, uninformed, uncalled for and not in the spirit of the MS peer
support newsgroups. Perhaps you should relocate to the alt newsgroups where
abusive replies are a sport and more in keeping with the free for all
mentality of the alt newsgroups.
Answering questions no matter how redundant is the objective of the
Microsoft newsgroups and a necessity since most of the new posters are from
first time users of newsgroups and unfamiliar with the concept of peer
support newsgroups. If you want to help [and I am sure you could], please
do, but if you want to bash and abuse, there are newsgroups more suited to
that style than these.

You did say you tried everything to fix it, but what exactly did you try?
Saying you tried everything without defining what "was everything" you
tried, will limit replies to your posts. Did you apply the latest updates
suited to XP and your hardware?
If you haven't, check the Roxio support on their web site.

When I built this computer last year I also bought the Basic
Easy CD Creator 5 and immediately did the 5.3.5 upgrade. I
have never had a problem, even with cheap media and a budget
HiVal burner.

Also, tell the OP that Roxio updated version 5 to 5.3.5 to
make it work with XP, it is a free upgrade.
