Easier than search and replace?

Hello Everyone!

I need to find a way to make it easier to populate a document wit
similar information. For example. Right now, I work with a 200 pag
manual and throughout the manual are places that need to be customize
with a person's name or title.

Right now I am using search and replace and it takes a long time, a
there are about 100 customization points.

Is there a way to do this with maybe a form that is filled out that i
related to the manual and populates as I fill it out? Or Mail Merge?
I know NOTHING about any code so, I hope there is a novice solution.

repeating data throughout documents.
Obviously you will have to spend time modifying your document to work with
whichever method you choose.
From what you decribe, the quickest conversion would be the bookmark method,
which you can use Find/Replace to help you work through the document.
