Have imported messages from ukonline to windows mail. Cannot now send
e-mails. Authentication setting might not be correct for your outgoing e-mail
it says. Account pop3.UKonline.co.uk Server smtp.UKonline.co.uk Portocol SMTP
Server Response : 550 relay not permitted Port 25 Secure (SSL) No Server
Error 550 Error Number 0x800CCC79. Can anyone make any sense of this. I'm a
real novice where e-mail accounts are concerned. HELP please

Yes it means you are trying to send e-mail from an account's SMTP server
that is NOT the same as the one you are logged onto.

Change the SMTP server for that account to the SMTP server name of the ISP
you are logged onto.

This is a spam prevention method that has gone on for years.

You will have to ask your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

I'm going with the concensus on this one, contact your ISP with who you
connect. I don't know who that is so I can't tell you.
