e-mailing pittures

i have a dell computer and a kodak digital camera. there was a new hard drive preplaced in my comp.. verything was reloaded by a prof.. when i want to send my pic thru the kodak window, i click on the e-mail tab in kodak, i can do the address and subject and type the message but, when i get the send button, it never lites up, so to speak. i can't get into my firewall to make it a trusted program. any ideas ?
