/rosie

I have tried everything to get my phots E-mailed but they
won't go thru. I get as far as "E-mail this file" and
downsize the pictures and click send and nothing
happens. It says my pictures are ready to send. What is
wrong??

Do you download your Hotmail messages and
read them in Outlook Express or do you manage
your e-mail on the Hotmail website?

If you open Outlook Express and add your Hotmail
Account...(this will allow you to read and send
Hotmail from Outlook Express)

Tools / Accounts / Add Mail...

And then follow these instructions:

I cannot guarantee it, but the following method may work:

How do I make OE my default mail client?

Go to...Start / Run...and type the following:
"C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /reg<
(copy paste everything between the > < but not including the > <)
(But first...Check the path to msimn.exe to make sure it is correct)

Click...OK...

Then open Internet Explorer and go to...Tools / Internet Options /
Programs tab...and set OE as the default mail (and news) program.

Good luck.

I just use the Hotmail site. Don't know if I can do
what you are suggesting, but I will try.

If you have additional questions post them
here and maybe someone can answer them...
also, there is a newsgroup specifically for
Outlook Express 6:

You can access it here:

http://tinyurl.com/ds8p

Or go to the following site:

http://tinyurl.com/218p

Wait for the page to load.

(if the newsgroup list doesn't load,
left click your Refresh button)

Scroll down the list in the left pane to:

windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress

====================================

What ...exactly...have you tried?

Did you go to...Start / Run...and type the following?
"C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /reg<
(copy paste everything between the > < but not including the > <)
(But first...Check the path to msimn.exe to make sure it is correct)

Click...OK...

As for the *Tools*...

Open an Internet Explorer window and
on the toolbar at the top of your screen...
Left Click...*Tools*...then proceed to...
Internet Options / Programs tab...and set
OE as the default mail (and news) program.

Maybe you should go to the Outlook Express 6
newsgroup for assistance as I previously suggested.
