ever since i tried to set up a second e-mail acct on mchsi.com, i cant
receive any mail. the log on screed appears and asks for user and password.
after keying that in, the log on screen appears again. i have deleted user
and re added it. i can send mail just fine. what did i do when setting up
second acct? i need to have 4 accts total, but would like to get the first 2
going first. i have used the full e-mail as log on and have used the first
part as user. neither one works.

Here's the instructions for Outlook Express. They should also work
under Windows Mail if you don't choose an HTTP server.

Have you tried entering the username in all lowercase?

Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no
protection not provided by the regular resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
Outlook Express and should be uninstalled. The latest version of Trend's
anti-virus seems to be causing problems too.

Most versions of Norton and McAfee, and a recent version of
Trend, need to be uninstalled, not just disabled, to stop them
from causing problems.
