i cannot send any e mail it just stays in my sent folder , i also cannot
recieve incoming mail, ihave sent myself an email but it stays in my sent
folder but i do not recieve it, my friends send me email but it comes back
saying no such address, i have checked all my settings and everything is ok,
i have disabled my norton firewall and incoming mail scan but its still the
same,HELPplease

Disable Norton A/V completely and try. It does not get along with OE very
well at all. (The firewall should be OK). You may be able to get around if
you turn off *incoming* scanning.

Note that if a message gets to your Sent Items folder, it means that it was
received by your ISP. Do you get any error messages? If you do, please post
them.

If your friends send you an email and they get a notice that there is no
such address, what do you think that means? Is it possible that you don't
have an email account, it is written incorrectly or that it is broken? Is
this email account located on your ISP's mail server? Did you check with
them?

If your friends send an email and get a response that there is no such
address, then your email account no longer exists, or you are giving them an
incorrect address. This is an issue with your ISP, so you need to contact
them and find out what the problem is.

Did you follow the instructions for setting up your email account that was
provided you by your ISP?

Has your email ever worked?

Are you certain you are using the correct address?

What software are you using to try to send and receive email?
