E-mail links

I cannot click on a link in e-mail. No problem up until a month ago.
I am using Windows XP and Internet Explorer.
 
More info needed...... What email program or provider etc....

Help us to help you.
 
I'm using Outlook Express as my e-mail program and Google is my search engine.
I should apologize, I'm not too adept at this computer stuff.
Give me an example of a "provider" and I'll try to figure out who it is.

Provider = ISP = Internet Service Provider = supplies your broadband = AOL, BT, ZEN, Talk Talk, Plusnet etc etc etc. :)
 
I was thinking email provider, Gmail? Hotmail/Outlook.com? etc. :)
